ABOUT

Biosphere

The Biosphere is where all organisms live. on Earth. It is the layer of Earth where rocks and minerals form.

Atmosphere

The Atmosphere is a thin gas surrounding the Earth. The atmosphere is about 80% nitrogen and 20% oxygen.

The atmosphere has a huge impact on hurricanes because water evaporates into the atmosphere which causes it to rain. Clouds start to come together and become a storm.

Geosphere

Hydrosphere

The Geosphere describes the land and all the rocks and minerals in and on Earth. It includes mountains and liquid rocks,

The Hydrosphere is made up of all the water on Earth. It includes rivers, lakes, oceans, polar ice caps, glaciers, rain, and snow which is also called the cryosphere.

The hydrosphere is what fuels up the hurricane. It causes major flooding and high winds. Because of global warming the ice caps and glaciers are melting, which is causing more water.
